Rustico

Made a reservation for 7 at 5:45 on a Friday night. We were seated immediately upon arrival at 5:30. The servers were all very nice and fast, never an empty water glass on the table. The food came out fast and hot. Everyone thoroughly loved their dishes. My braised beef gnocchi was outstanding. The beef was so tender. Portion sizes are quite ample. Wine selection is very broad. Paid street parking available until 8pm then it becomes free. May be hard to find a spot at times.

In any case where the food didn’t totally hit the spot, their amazing service and lovely ambience (outdoors) really made up for it! Most dishes were pretty tasty and the bread pudding is a MUST try. Lamb chops were awesome and the cheese dish picture here was scrumptious. Other dishes like the calamari and octopus salad were just okay. Completely worth the visit, and we ended up returning shortly after the first try! We’d definitely go back at some point.

I used to live across Rustico, but fortunately they moved to this awesome new space. Same great food, even more amazing location. Of course I had costillas two ways. The braised short ribs and the lamb chops. Both perfectly cooked to perfection. There is just something so comforting about Rustico’s food. I can’t wait to return for date night or family dinner ♥️

We come here all the time and always have an amazing experience. The food is always great and the drinks are always fantastic but it’s the staff that make Rustico magical. From the servers to the bartenders and the hosts and food runners everyone is always on their game, making you feel as if you are a part of Rustico. Lulu is especially a highlight. Every time I come I look forward to seeing her. For me she is the heart of Rustico and the charm I look forward to.

¡Me encanta este lugar! I love this place. My partner and I have been coming here for the past year. Their new location is gorgeous! The food is amazing, but the staff is really what keeps us coming back. Lulu is the life of the night! She is always so friendly and I look forward to seeing her every time we come here. As long as Lulu is here we will be here! Rustico, you are our favorite place for date nights, thank you to all your amazing staff!

Wish I could have given a better rating however our experience at Rústico was humiliating and frustrating. We go for a drink and give this new spot a try. Little did we know we had walked into chaos and a disorganized bar staff. As fate would have it, I'm fluent in Spanish. The staff, unaware of this fact, started a dialogue of their own. Their conversation resembled more of a radio drama about two baffled bartenders who had lost the secret recipe of our drinks. After about 10 minutes of watching this drama unfold We get our drinks - with the rude staff talking amongst each other how we wouldn’t know the difference and to just serve the drinks to get us out. As a Latina and hearing such rude comments from other Latinos was very disheartening. But even then their behavior/comments/ professionalism wast definitely lacking. This review is mostly to highlight the terrible service. We can’t review the food - the hostess was very polite- and we won’t be going back.
